The Truth That Lies Behind His Eyes

He often sits in empty rooms

Chasing after abandoned dreams

He Once sought after things so certain

Now he knows nothing is final

He dare not look into the eyes of another

In fear of what they might see within

They might see through the walls hes built

And catch glimpses of his troubled heart

If anyone really knew the way He felt, He'd crumble
Revealing what he kept so gaurded

So vulnerable and sore afraid

To be exposed and left wide open

For those who cast their eyes apon him

And pick apart his very soul

The lies that lined the walls within
Falls to pieces as truth comes out

And now theres nothing left to hide

But also nothing left inside

The truth that lies behind his eyes

Is overwhelming to our minds
